I am interested in veterinary pathology since 1997, when as a student of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical University (UVPS) Brno, I started to visit regularly Department of Pathology at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM).
Since 2000 I was employed as an assistant one year later as a lecturer in anatomic pathology. I started combined residency (approved by European College of Veterinary Pathology) and PhD study in veterinary anatomic pathology in 2001, from which I have been graduated in 2004. Following year I was employed as a senior lecturer and also launched my private diagnostic service for clinicians in the Czech Republic.
In July 2006 I left to England and started to work as a diagnostic pathologist for CytoPath Ltd in Ledbury where I provided diagnostic service under supervision of Dr.Chris Belford. I was thorougly educated in diagnostic cytology in CytoPath. In February 2007 I have returned back to the Czech Republic and performed a diagnostic services for the Czech clinicians.
I have pursued habilitation at FVM UVFS Brno in May 2011 and became associate professor of anatomic pathology.
I have worked as a diagnostic pathologist at Finn Pathologists in United Kingdom from 2013 till 2016.
I have passed successfully FRCPath - Part 1 Examination in Veterinary Pathology - Small Domestic Animals in September 2014 and FRCPath - Part 2 in October 2015 and became Fellow of Royal College of Pathologists in January 2016.
I have
returned back to the Czech Republic in May 2016. My coopoeration with
Finn Pathologists continues as a
consultant in histopathology via on-line digital pathology system.
I was awarded
RCVS Specialist status in veterinary pathology in February 2020.
I successfully passed board exam of European College of Aquatic Animal Health in 2021 and became
DipECAAH.
